Car Accident From Alcohol and Speed in Cobb County that Killed 1 and injured 3

Twenty five year old, Michael Rogers was killed and three others injured in a car accident on Thursday morning in Cobb County. The single vehicle accident occurred in a 1991 Saturn SL2 headed east on South Gordon Road. At about 5 a.m. the vehicle hit a curb which spun clockwise into a tree. The car then spun to a stop in the front of a house. David Shepard, 18, and Najhel Fuller, 19, were ejected from the vehicle and Thomas Dawson, 18, was also injured in the crash.

Cobb County police and investigators are still not sure who was driving. The investigators do believe that the crash may have been from alcohol and speed.

2. Auto accidents due to alcohol happen mostly between 8 p.m. and 2 a.m., so try to avoid the roads at these times.
