Two Fatal Car Crashes in Cobb County Last Weekend
Cobb County Police are investigating two fatal car crashes that happened over the weekend. The accidents were only hours apart from each other.
On Saturday, around 7:30 pm, William G. Howe, 25, was driving his Suzuki motorcycle when he collided with another vehicle. Howe was driving east on Robinson Road as a driver of an Infiniti I35 was turning left onto Robinson Road. Howe struck the Infiniti on the left hand side. He was taken to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
On Sunday, an unidentified male was driving a white 2007 Ford F-150 truck down Barrett Lakes Boulevard shortly after midnight. For an unknown reason, the truck left the roadway and drove into a wood line on the west side of Barrett Lakes Boulevard. The driver was found unconscious inside the truck. He was taken to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Investigators are not sure why the vehicle left the roadway, and are asking for anyone with information about either car accident to call 770-499-3987.
