Marietta Driver Seriously Injured in a Car Crash on Cobb Parkway

Five people were involved in a major crash at the intersection of Cobb Parkway and McCollum Parkway. A 2006 Toyota Corolla was driving southbound on Cobb Parkway when a 2011 Volvo Tractor-Trailer was heading westbound on McCollum Parkway and struck the Toyota on the driver’s side. The impact of the hit caused the Toyota to crash into three other vehicles that were in the northbound lanes.

The driver of the Toyota was identified as Ehsan Khan, a 53-year-old man from Marietta, Georgia. He was taken to WellStar Kennestone Hospital with major injuries. There were three others identified in the Toyota: 55-year-old Ghulam Khan, 21-year-old Sumbai Khan, and 22-year-old Sidra-tal Khan. All of the passengers were from Kennesaw, Georgia.

The driver of the Volvo, 57-year-old, John Teal from Knoxville Tennessee was not injured in the crash. Investigators are still looking for more information on the crash.
