Talenti has issued an allergy alert for its pint sized Sea Salt Carmel Gelato. The product may inadvertently contain peanuts or peanut butter which is not labeled on the packaging. Consuming a product with peanuts if you have a severe allergy can cause serious and life threatening health risks, possibly even death.

The Sea Salt Carmel Gelato affected is marked with the UPC 8685200024. The UPC is located on the side of the jar. The best by date is 5/19/2016. That is the only affected best by date. If you own a product that is part of the recall, Talenti is asking that you hold onto the affected plastic jar and call 877-270-7393 to request a replacement.
