Georgia lawyer Lance Cooper, who discovered evidence of the defect and presented it to GM’s outside counsel King & Spalding in April 2013, said he’s still waiting for answers on the role attorneys played.
“What they knew when they knew it and who they were reporting to, there’s really a veil over that,” Cooper said.
